Safety is Destroying America

As a whole, humanity lives longer than ever. The most recent impressive gains has been in the 3rd world, but the west has been steadily increasing in age due to lower death rates and lower fertility rates. This phenomena is welcome, but it is completely foreign to the human condition.

Childhood death rates have gone from around 3,000 per 100,00 to less than 100 per 100,000. That amount of alleviated suffering is incalculable.
